In
this section I have listed the BASIC HTPC, this is the minimum
for a HTPC.
MY
HTPC TODAY is as is says.
As
you develop your system you soon realise that storage space is
everything and that adding more hard drives to the HTPC may not
necessarily be the best option or leave the best flexibility when
wanting to get to the stored data form another PC say a Laptop,
that's where the HTMS (Home Theater Media Server) or MSPC (Media
Server PC) comes in. In this section I have also described the
basics of a media server, networking and other ways to distribute
the Audio video to other TV's.
The
last section is Media Players, this in conjunction to the HTMS
could be a better option than a dedicated HTPC.
